(Reuter —N.Z.P.A.) (Rec. 10.0) GENEVA, Sept. 9 The International Trade and Tariff Conference gave the United States permission to introduce preference for her trust territories in the Pacific, the former Japanese possessions in the Marshall, Caroline and Marianna Islands. Britain, Australia and fourteen other nations voted for preferences. New Zealand and Belgium abstained.
