FOUR U.S. AIRCRAFT LOST ON TRAINING TLIGHT IN PHILIPPINES

(Rec. 11.50) MANILA, Sept. 9 ■ The American Air Force has announced that four out of sixteen fighter aircraft on a routine training flight were missing after encountering bad weather off the north-west coast of Luzon. Unofficial reports state that five of the aircraft landed on Formosa .Island.
