TOKOMARU BAY WHARF DISPUTE SETTLED

GISBORNE, Sept. 9. After nine weeks of idleness as a result of a watersiders’ wage dispute, cargo-handling operations have been resumed at the East Coast port or Tokomaru Bay. The proposals drafted were accepted by the watersiders on a trial basis, but the terms have not been disclosed.
