HARIHARI NOTES
[Our own Corresponaent] Spr. M. W. Connolly and Pte. G. F. Searle have arrived home after serving with the J Force in Japan. Miss Betty Rowley is at present on a visit to Christchurch. Mr Wl Bell, of the Greymouth Post Office, is at present relieving at the local office here. Mrs E. Chirnell, who has been on a visit to her son here, has left for Christchurch. Messrs Foster, Cron, Manship and Ford have returned from a visit to Christchurch. Mrs J. Robertson has returned from Christchurch. Messrs Diedrich (Evans Greek) and Patrick (Harihari) paid a brief visit to Greymouth last week. Mrs Baker and Miss Allen, of Sydney, who have been on a visit to South Westland for the past month, have left on return. Mrs E. Black paid a visit to Hoki-
tika last week. , , Mr E. Kirby, junr., paid a week-end visit to Brunner. Mrs Howard and daughter, of Runanga, who have been visiting Mrs R Rowley, have left on return home. Mr and Mrs A. Puller and family, of New Brighton, are on to the latter’s mother, Mrs Cron, Little Wanganui.
The Rev. Father Kelly, parish priest of Ross, will visit here next Sunday at 11 a.m. Mr and Mrs P. Hansen have returned from Christchurch. Mr Stan Allen, who has been on a visit to relatives here, has returned to Hokitika. . ■ Mr Vic Berry paid a brief visit to Christchurch for the week-end.
I Messrs John Searle and Robt. Fer'guson are patients in the Westland Hospital. Mrs Adamson and her son, Hughiu who are patients in the Wes.tland Hospital, are progressing favourably. Miss Kelly, of Westport, is the guest of Miss Aldridge. Mi’ J. Codyre is on a visit to Greymouth.
