Badminton Season to Open

Westport Club is commencing this evening when the club captain, Mr A. Duncan, will conduct instructional classes for new members and others desirous of attending. This instruction will cover the rules of the game and various strokes and aspects of the game and combination play. The committee hopes that members will avail themselves of the opportunity to have the opporunity to have the to have the rules explained and to strengthen their play on the courts. With several new players still to be placed, the following are the names of those in the teams. (The draw for the first round this evening is No. 1 team v. No. 2 team. No. 3 have a bye. No. I.—J.
