COAL SYNDICATE TO PAY FOR TRESPASS IN INANGAHUA

Judgment with costs for the plaintiff, William James Morris, was given by Mr, T. G. Maunsell, S.M., in the Warden’s Court, Reefton, in his suit for an injunction ‘ against Alexander M. Jones Eric George Bellis, John Kyran Teahan, David Warren Jones, the Welcome Coal Co., Ltd. and John Braidwood, and damages for trespass and conversion of coal, also a taking of accounts. Judgment was for plaintiff for £502 with costs £29 14s. The plaintiff was also allowed costs £2 16s on an interim injunction. The defendant Braidwood was excepted from the judgment meantime, the plaintiff to move for judgment against him if desired. Messrs J. W. Hannan and L. E. Morgan appeared for the plaintiff. Mr W. D. Taylor represented the defendant Teahen, Mr A. M. Jamieson Braidwood and Mr J. K. Patterson, the other defendants.
