(Dec 9.50) NEW YORK, April 22. San Jose, the capital of Costa Rica states: —-

General Jose Figueres, the leader of the successful Right Wing revolution in Costa Rica, announced to-day that he would form a military Junta to take over the Government on May 3, and that he would then re-write the Constitution for a ’’‘Second Republic.” He said that national elections would be held after the new Constitution is adopted. General Figueres said he believed that he had scored a complete victory over Communism in Costa Rica. He added: “But, if the v do not consider themselves defeated now, we will prove it!”
