BLENHEIM, April 19.“ C A married woman and her five children are patients in the Kaikoura Hospital with injuries sustained when a car left the road, at '.the top of Hundalee Hill, about eight o’clock last night, and rolled 400 feet down a steep slope. dition serious. Joan Elizabeth McClintock, aged eight, shock and abrasions. Heather Joy McClintock, aged two and a-half, concussion. Andrew Wayne' McClintock, aged 15 months, shock. ’ Two of the children were thrown out soon after the car left the road, and had the terrifying experience of seeing it carry on to the bottom of the hill. They followed down, and were told by their mother to go and get help. Although bleeding from numerous cuts, and .considerably shaken, they regained the road and set out in search of assistance. They were met about two miles on the Kaikoura side of Hundalee by a motorist, who gave immediate assistance, and called medical help. The injured were admitted to hospital about 10 p.m.
