World Bank Grants Dollars for France and Netherlands

(Rec. 10.20). WASHINGTON, May 22. The Managing-Director of the World Monetary Fund, Mr Camille Gutt, has announced' that grants of currency stabilisation funds amounting to twenty-five million dollars have been made to France and of twelve million dollars to the Netherlands. These grants, which are the firs': which the fund has made are in exchange for equivalent amounts ot francs and guilders. The World Bank granted to France a two hundred and fifty d’olar loan on May 9.
