DAIRY FARMERS APPROVE NEW MARKETING SYSTEM

P.A. CHRISTCHURCH, May 20, There is widespread approval among dairy farmers of the new systern of marketing dairy produce and the procedure for fixing the guaranteed price, according to information received by the Prime Minister (Hon. P. Fraser). Mr. Fraser said that the chairman of the Dairy Board (Mr. W. E. Hale) had told him in Wellington yesterday that he, along with other members of the board, had addressed ward conference meetings throughout the country and had found unanimous approval of and support of the proposed new dairy commission, which Mr. Fraser addtd, was to be the subject of legislation as early as possible in the next session of Parliament.
