HENRY BEATS BLOMFIELD P.A. GISBORNE, May 20. Being unable to give Jim Henry 18st. 21bs., the leeway of a penalty fall, Lofty Blomfield 17st., was defeated by two falls to one over seven rounds spectacular rough housing this evening. The penalty fall was given against Blomfield in the third round for elbow jolting referee Tom Smale, and knocking him over. Blomfield equalised the falls with an octopus clamp in the fifth round, Henry took the decision with a submission fall through a boston-crab in the seventh.
