LONDON, May 1. The Paris correspondent of the Daily Telegraph says: Rebel pressure in Madagascar has considerably increased during the past twenty-four hours in the region, of Mananjary on the East Coast of the island; also at Tamatave, 185 miles further rforth, where the local Europeans are concentrated in the expectation of a siege.
