P.A. AUCKLAND, May 2. Reports that the Auckland Trades Council has suggested to the National Council of the Federation of Labour that a one-day general strike be held throughout New Zealand, with demonstrations in the principal cities, would be neither confirmed nor denied by a prominent member of the Trades Council to-day. “I have no comment,” he said.
