A U.S.A. Army Air Force Superfortress flew over the North Pole this week, inaugurating what is expected to be routine weather reports from th’e top of the world. No effort was made to keep the flight secret. The plane transmitted from over the Pole uncoded weather reports, available to all nations listening in.
