“DOMESTIC DISPUTE”

DENNISTON MINE RESUMES WORK TWO DAYS’ STOPPAGE • P.A. WESTFORT, February 20. The Westport Coal Company’s Denniston mine was idle all Wednesday and to-day as a result of a dispute described as “a domestic matter”, arising out of a trucking incident, which in the opinion of an official, should have been settled without a stoppage of work. As a result of negotiations between Union officials to-day, a decision was made to resume work, tomorrow. The mine employs 265 men, and the loss of output of the two days is approximately 700 tons.
