(Rec 11.45) SYDNEY, Nov. 20. Men employed in the Sydney dockyards, and' who will be/locked out, are asking the Federal Government to take over idle yards and operate them.

Because there has been no settlement in the Morts Dock dispute, other employers are issuing 'notices of dismissal to permanent hands. Affected by the dismissal notices are 4000 tradesmen on weekly hiring, including" engineer and craft union members. . The 4000 casuals who -will be msmissed next Wednesday include the painters, dockers, plumbers shipwrights, ship joiners, and some casual ironworkers.
