TIMARU, Nov. 18.
Three bookmaker’s agents, Charles Rudge, William Walsh, and Nicholas Gaul, were each fined’ £lOO by Mr G. G. Chisholm S.M., in the Tiniaru Magistrate’s Court to-day. All are barme'n.
On Saturday the police found betting material in their possession. Each said he took bets to accommodate customers. Taking bets in a bar aggravated the offence, said the Magistrate.
