FIRE BRIGADES
WEST COAST DEMONSTRATION.
For the Fire Brigade Demonstration to be held at Reefton on December 7th, the following Brigades have entered. — . j Reefton, Westport, Denniston, Otira, Hokitika, Kumara, ‘Cobden, Grey Railway, Runanga and Greymouth. At a meeting of the executive of the West Coast Fire Brigade Association, the following officers were appointed: — Referees: Motorman Grant, Supt. Ross.
Marshals: Mr. A. Tyler, Foreman Benyon. Starters: Supt. Benfell, Mr. Gore Porter.
Judges and Examiners: Dep. Supt. Preston, Foreman Williams, Supt. Mclntosh, Supt. Daily, Dep. Supt. Phibbs. Foreman Reynolds, Motorman H. Kirk, Branchman McEnaney, Secretary Lewis, Foreman Curtis, F’iremen Sweetman, Jackson, Patterson, Irving, Westward, Lavery, and Johnstone.
Disc. Judges: Firemen Eager, G, Kirk, McKenzie, Davidson.
Timekeepers: Messrs Thompson, G. McEnaney, Ryall, Oxenham, Hickford, McCaffrey, Griggs, Jones, Fisher. Crooks.
Field Secretary: Mr. B. McDonagh; Blackboard Secretary: Mr. McNabb. Protest Committee: Messrs J. G. Walton, G. McEnaney, J. McGirr.
