WOOL CONTROL

RELAXED IN BRITAIN LONDON, August 26. Some of the most far reaching relaxations yet made in the control of wool are officially announced. They begin on September 9. These are a necessary preliminary for auctions, says the Yorkshire Post’s Bradford correspondent. The * modifications will restore freedom to the commerce of Dominion wool in the United Kingdom and will cancel the United Kingdom maximum prices for such wool, but will maintain a maximum price for tops and noils in British wool. British consumption of wool remains subject to rationing, but the generous facilities for the export of Dominion wool from Britain have been restored.
