English Woman and German Soldier LOST DIRECTION (Rec. 6.30). LONDON, August 22. There were only two persons aboard the Lalun when the French authorities boarded the yacht at Calais, says the Evening News. They were a member of the German Afrika Korps, Alexander Todt, and Mrs Dorothy Blake, whose husband is a Twickenham postman. She told the Evening News correspondent that they separated three years ago. Contrary to earlier reports it is now stated that there were no other Germans aboard the Lalun. which the French confiscated. The German and Mrs Blake were taken into custody, and will be returned to England under escort. The couple intended to go to Germany, but in bad weather lost then way and sailed into Calais.
