LONDON, Aug. 9. The delivery of milk at Cerne Abbas in Dorset is now being made by the Lord of the Manor, Lord Digby, and Lady Digby. They drive a milk van round 300 houses, delivering milk as well as fruit and vegetables. Lord Digby has been a milkman for six months' because his workers are busy on the farm. The man who usually helps him is away on holiday, so Lady Digby is his temporary assistant. “He’s always on lime and does not miss' a day,” said a villager. JOHANNESBURG, Aug. 9. South African soldiers- testified against Lourens Potgieter, who was captured with them at Gazala in 1942, that he gave Germans information about. the positions of minefields, which contributed to the capture two months' later at Tobruk of practically the whole of the South African second division. .Potgieter is accused of treason. NEW DELHI, Aug. 9. Two British soldiers were injured one seriously, when crowds' stoned military lorries. The United States Army has announced that charges of larceny, embezzlement, conspiracy and absence without leave, are to be made against a member of the Women’s Army Corps, Captain Kathleen Nash Durant, former manageress of the Kronberg Castle recreation centre. The Frankfurt correspondent of

the Associated Press, reporting this', states that the charges- allege that Mrs Durant conspired with her husband, Colonel Jack Durant, of Chicago, and Major Watson, in their theft last winter of the Hesse family jewels.
