Prices at the Addington Market this week were as follows: —- Store sheep: Wether lambs 24s Id to 27s 2d. A pen of three-quarter bred ewe lambs brought 22s 9d. Fat lambs: Extra prime lambs 34s Id to 38s Id; prime, 29s lOd to 32s 7d; medium and light, 23s Id to 26s id. The highest price was 39s Id for a single lamb. Fat sheep: Extra prime wethers, 42s 6d' to 51s 7d; prime wethers, 35s to 41s; prime medium-weight wethers, 28s to 345; light, 24s to 28s; prime young ewes, to 295; extra prime aged ewes, 21s to 23s 10d; prime, 19s to 21s 6d; medium, 16s to 18s 6d; light 11s 6d to 15s. Fat cattle: Extra prime steers, to £22 2s 6d; prime' steers, £lB to £2O 2s 6d; prime medium-weight steers, £l6 10s to £l7 17s 6d; ordinary steers, to £11; prime heifers, to £l4 17s 6d; good heifers, £ll 10s to £l3 2s 6d; medium heifers, £9 to £lO 15s; light heifers, to £8; prime cows, to £l2 12s 6d; ordinary cows, £8 2s 6d to £9 17s 6d; light cows, £6 to £7 2s 6d. Store cattle showed little change in the values of recent weeks, the demand being fair, and sales sound. Dairy cattle: Best heifers ranged from £lB to £23 10s; good, from £l3 to £l7; smaller and unattractive, £9 10s to £l2 10s. Best second and third ealvers made £l4 to £l7 10s; medium to good cows, £lO 10s to £l3 10s; aged and inferior, and cows in profit. £7 to £9 15s. Vealers: Large, £7 3s Gd to £9 Gs; others, £5 6s to £6 ISs fid; best suckers, £4 16s to £6 6s; medium, £3 Ils to £4 13s Gd; large calves 54s to 725; medium calves, 35s to 525; small and rough, 10s to 30s. Fat pigs: Light portkers, £3 2s 60 to £3 9s 6d; medium, £3 12s 6d to £3 17s 6d; heavy, £4 Is 6d to £4 8s 6d; choppers, £5 8s 6d to £l3 18s 6d; light baconers, £4 14s 6d to £4 19s 6d; medium, £5 4s fid to £5 14s Gd; heavy, £5 19s 6d to £6 7s Gd; extra heavy, £6 9s Gd to £6 19s 6d; average price per lb, B‘ld to 9’jd. Store pigs: Small weaners, brought 20s to 265; best, 34s to 38s; slips, 40s to 445; small stores, 45s to 48s; medium, 50s to 535; large stores. 55s to 60s.
