DAVIS CUP PLAYERS
NOT TO WRITE FOR PRESS MELBOURNE, January 31. Selected Davis Cup' players have been banned from writing for the Press by the Lawn Tennis Association of Australia. The decision was made! at an interstate Conference which also asked the Council to consider the general question of banning players in Australian championships or in any other matches controlled by the Association from writing for the Press. In discussion, the President said that Bromwich’s articles had been quite fair, but that Quist was open to criticism.
