LONDON, Jan. 28 The Allies ceased issuing occupation money in Italy as the result ot an agreement between the Italian Government and the Allied authorities, says the Exchange Telegraph Agency’s Rome , correspind’ent. Italy henceforth will supply the Allies with Italian banknotes. The amount will-be credited to Italy for the purchase of raw materials. Occupation lire at present circulating is estimated to total £1,350,000, which w’l gradually be withdrawn and substituted by Italian banknotes.
