LONDON, January 28. _ The Russian Military Comander in Budapest, has ordered the suspension of publication of the Hungarian weekly newspaper “Haladas”. . 3he suspension was ordered following on the publication in “Haladas” of a reply co a Communist newspaper article, says the Exchange Telegraph Agency s Budapest, correspondent. The Communist newspaper article stated that the rations of the British and the American soldiers were . an undeserved luxury while the rations of the Russian soldiers were just sufficient to keep them from starving. The “Haldas” reply, which was written by. the editor of the paper, ' M. Sbolt, the well-known Hungarian writer, said: “Hungarians should know that the British and the American soldiers’ rations were imported from their own countries, while the Russian soldiers’ rations were taken from the Hungarian soil.”
