P.A. WELLINGTON, January 3. The West Coast weather report and forecast for the next 24 hours is as follows: — General situation: There is a weak ridge of high pressure advancing from the west. The pressure is very low over Tasmania. Forecast to 5 p.m. on Friday: Moderate to variable winds. Weather: Fair, but cloud increasing in the south towards evening. -• Temperatures: Moderate. Further outlook: Unsettled, with rain developing.
