RAISING REPAYMENT MONEY

P.A. WELLINGTON, January 3.

Mr. Nash announces that the Government has decided to invite the public to subscribe some of the money required to meet the liability incurred by the repayment in London of loans totalling £23,392,(000 sterliing, part of which was repaid on January 1 and the balance repayable on Febuary 1. The investing public may apply for stock in the new issue now being offered, namely 3 per cent, stock maturing on July 15, 1961-63, if the loan 1 is still on the market. During the next financial year amounts subscribed may be used for national development purposes. The loan may be opened forthwith and may be closed at any time.
