LONDON, March 14. Professor T. B. Davie, Professor of pathology at the University of Liverpool stated:— Penicillin can now be used in many forms, including powder, cream and pastilles for the throat. In two or three months, it will be on sale in Britain. Penicillin is now available for every case in Britain requiring it. He described penicillin as the nearest approach to a miracle there has ever been in medicine. People so near death that their i, breath was scarcely noticeable \on a mirror were almost ready to leave their beds within' twenty-four hours « of administration of penicillin. Some kinds of skin disease had cleared up in twenty-four hours by its use.
