Mails close at the Chief Post Office as under: — Christchurch and Duneain, lues., Thurs., Saturday 9 a.m. Christchurch and Dunedin, daily, 4 pm.; late fee, 5 p.m. (rail-car), 5.15 p.m. (late fee G. 30 n.m.) per Goods. , . . North Island, Tues.. Thurs., Saturday, 9 a.m. Letters only, 5 p.m., with late fee 6.30 p.m. Hokitika, 3 p.m. (late fee 4 p.m.) and 7 p.m. Westport, daily, 7 p.m., letters only per rail-car, 2.30 p.m. Reefton and Nelson. 7 n.m. daily, INLAND AIR MAIL. North Island and Dunedin, 5.15 Nelson. Blenheim and Noivh land, 9.30 a.m. daily. M. R. ALDRIDGE, Chief Postmaster.
