FIGHT FOR BHAMO
CHINESE ENTER AT TWO POINTS. (Rec. 11.45). KANDY, Nov. 24. A South-east Asia Command communique states: Chinese troops in Northern Burma yesterday entered Bhamo at two points from the south in the face of strong opposition. Other troops drove a further wedge into the outskirts •. of Bhamo from the north-east. On the Chindwin front ground a'nd air operations continue against enemy positions west of Kalewa. Allied aircraft destroy-ed five bridges near Kalewal
