U.S.A. LABOUR

A NARROW-MINDED VIEW NEW YORK, Nov. 20. The Executive Council of the American Federation of Labour has unanimously refused an invitation by the British Trade Union Congress to the World Labour Conference in London on February 8, when Labour’s role in peace and the formation of .an all-inclusive Labour Federation will be considered. Mr William Green, the F'resident of the A.F.L said the invitation was refused because Sir - Walter Citrine had invited dual organisations like the C. 1.0. Mr Green contended that certain other unions invited were not bona fide, including the Catholic Trade Unions of Canada and some South American unions. He declared the Soviet Trade Unions are not free trade unions in the American view.
