N.Z. AIRMEN KILLED

IN STATION ACCIDENTS.

P.A. CHRISTCHURCH, August 16Struck by a bundle of steel, which glanced off a truck, when a crane sling broke, at the R.N.Z.A.F. station at Rongotai, on Monday, Aircraftsman Grant David Cole Love, whose father is Mr. J. Love of Halcombe, was knocked backwards, striking his head heavily on the concrete paving. He sustained serious head injuries, from which he later died. A court ot inquiry is being held. Sergeant Barney Pouheke Warbrick, R.N.Z.A.F., lost his life in an aircraft accident near Waiuku, to-day while on a conversion flight. His mother is Mrs. A. Warbrick of Wainmi, Waiuku.
