NORWAY’S FORCES

LONDON, July 1

The Norwegian Government in London appointed Crown Prince Olaf as Commander-in-Chief of the Norwegian forces, with the present Commander-in-Chief, Major-General Mansteen, as next in command. It explained that the step was taken in preparation for the liberation ot Norway. The appointment would be valid until the first ordinary Cabinet meeting can be held in Oslo.
