S.W. PACIFIC QUAKES

BOMBAY, April 28. An earthquake shock of great intensity, wjth its epicentre over 4000 miles from Bombay, and estimated to be somewhere in New Guinea, was recorded at the Bombay, observatory at 9.19p,m. yesterday. This is the second time in two days that Bombay has registered a' shock in the New Guinea area.
