H mission is to find a marine base in Brittany- He assumes the identity of a French soldiei he resembles. He has to live villagers who know the real poliu, finds a sweetheart, discovers a chaimer who is working secretly with the enemy and after many narrow escapes finds the sea-wall behind which the U-boats are . hiding, lhe Commandos in a. brilliant raid destroy the submarine nest. Aumont s role literally repeats, some of .his own adventures. He is teamed with Susan Peters, one of the important acting' finds of the year. Another newcomer is the Swedish beauty, Signe Hasso. who portrays an intriguing spy. Richard Whorf, Margaret Wycherly, Reginald Owen, Sara Padden and John Emery, are among the principals.
