Thus on Xmas Day Invercargill will, it is oresumed, fo 1 rthe first time in 37 vears become a wet area again. , The immediate effect is that from December 25 it will no. longer be an offence to brin rr fi'-uor into Invercargill without an order. Wholesalers, will be unable to supply customers direct from their stores in Invercargill until their licenses are amended, enabling them to do so. At present the bulk of liquor so ordered comes from wholesalers’ stores at Blulf.
