OSLO STUDENTS

NO MORE DEPORTATIONS. (Rec. 9.5.) LONDON, Dec. 16. “The Times’s” Stockholm corresipondent says: No further deportation of students from Oslo is expected. The exact number shipped to Germany on December 9 .is now given as 296. There then were one thousand interned. Of these 250 have since been released. It is expected that onlv about a hundred will remain interned by the end of this week. _ The Germans maintain an official silence on the whole matter, but these figures agree with information reaching Swedish official circles in the last few days. It is also confirmed that the Germans abandoned a search for many students who escaped the round-up.
