Over Europe EPIDEMIC SERIOUS IN BRITAIN, (Rec. 11.5.) LONDON, Dec. 14.. The epidemic of influenza m Britain is seriously affecting war production. ~ The Minister of Health has called tor a total mobilisation to fight the epidemic says the “Daily Mail.” A circular calling for the full use of the borough and the rural resources against influenza is being circulated throughout Britain. It suggests the formation of mutual help squads, who shall be ready to nurse, or to shop for the patients. In some centres the Health Authorities have called on Red Cross workers and women’s organisations to provide nurses for homes where all of the inmates are ill. Influenza is also reported to be now widespread in France, Belgium and Northern Italy.
