A Cairo message states: Before leaving a British military hospital where he nas been recovering from injuries received in a motor-car accident, King, Farouk presented the medical* and nursing staffs with decorations. The Order of Perfection was awarded to Matron S'. E. Hughes, while eight Sisters received the Order of Merit. Colonel S. O. Dolan Officer Commanding the hospital and Major A. O. R. Lowden were both awarded the Order of Ismail (third ciassr. Major Lowden personally attended to the King’s injuries.
