FIVE YEARS OF WAR
Expected in Pacific LONDON, Oct. 18. The Japanese expect the war in the Far East to last another five years, said a Chilean journalist oeing repatriated from Japan. Interviewed at Mormugao ( Por t u ' guese India) the journalist added that the Japanese are convinced they can handle their war themselves irrespective of what happens to Germany The German reverses do not perturb the Japanese, who have no love for the Germans and regard the Axis as a partnership of convenience. .
