GERMAN INTENTION.
LONDON, June 9. The Axis repudiates Mr. Roosevelt’s statement that it contemplates usinv gas, says the Berlin radio. It points out that Mr Roosevelt’s threat to carry out reprisals “brings to mind the fact that Anglo-Saxons always aim at creating an alibi for using weapons, which are barred by international agreements.”
