Boxing members of the N.Z.E.F. found >a Royal Engineers team strong opposition, losing the match by five bouts to four after several close contests. Donaldson (welterweight) and Mclvor (lightweight) registered wins m the two best bouts of the evening, and good wins were also secured ey Porter (lightweight.) and Ward (welterweight). Outstanding hockey has again been played by New Zealanders in the season now ended. In eight outside games New Zealand teams were beaten only once, and that by a strong Indian Army side by seven goals to four. New Zealand’s biggest w : n was aga ; nst the R.A.F., 14-0. They also beat Indian Reinforcements 9-3.
