P.A. WELLINGTON, Feb. 24. The following New Zealand Air Force casualties are announced tonight:— Killed on active service: Dunlop, Sgt. Alistcr C., Hawera; Engstrom, Flight Lieut. Vaughan G. W„ R.A.F.. Masterton; Rundle, Sgt. John Reginald. whose lather is Mr W. Rundle, of Weheka, South Westland. Slightly wounded on active service: McNarey, Flying Officer David 1., Dunedin. Slightly injured on active service: Banriatyne, L.A.C. Robert G.. Auckland, Reclassified as missing, believed killed: Franklin, Sgt. Ford J.. Napier; Warner, Sgt. Kenneth J., Wellington. Now confirmed as killed on active service: Wallace, Sgt. Utriok W., Auckland. Now confirmed as killed in- action: J'ohnanson. Flying Officer Keith C.. Hamilton. ' Now reclassified as missing and believed killed on active service: Loftus, Sgt. Geoffrey D., Auckland. Previously reported interned in Spain, ;ow safe in British territory: Ferrers, Flying Officer Frederick Leonard, Auckland.
