MENINGITIS IN N.S.W.
SYDNEY, Aug. 19. Nearly five-hundred cases of cere-bro-spinal meningitis, including about I fifty deaths, have been reported in New South Wales this year. In the past twelve months the disease has [increased to such an extent it is now ['the State’s Number One health menace. During the past week, the record number of forty-five cases was recorded.
