Committed for Trial ATTEMPTED MURDER CHARGE. P.A. GISBORNE, July 22. Un a charge of attempted muruer of lan Fraser and his sister* Margaret, at Whangara on June .8, Thomas Patrick Bell, agen 16 years, a cowboy, to-day, was committed ror trial ax the next sitting of the Supreme Court at Gisborne. Evidence that accused, who had been quite friendly with them, had fired snots which had wounded them in the leg and arm respectively, was given by lan and Margaret Fraser. Detective-Sergt. Waterson sa.id that when he telepnoned the Frasers' farm, the accused answered and said: “Send a patrol wagon! I did it.” When witness arrived at the station, accused was sitting in the kitchen reading a book. Bell said he had shot the Frasers, and he was not disturbed at anvthing. He then assisted the police in every way.
