YESTERDAY’S SITTING.

At a sitting of the Magistrate s Court at Greymouth yesterday, Mr. G. G. Chisholm, S.M., presided, while Senior Sergeant G. F. Bonisch conducted the cases for the police. For allowing horses to wander *at Kumara; Maurice Tracey Teen and Albert Andrew Landrebe were each fined 7s, with 10s Court costs ana 3s 3d witness’s expenses. Seven statutory first offenders, found on licensed premises after hours, were each fined ss, with 10s costs. '

An eighteen-year-old girl, whose name was suppressed, pleaded guilty to six charges of theft, being admitted to probation for 12 months.
