WEST COAST CENTRE. There were present at last evening’s meeting of the West Coast Rugby League’s Management. Committee, Messrs J. E. Stokes (chan‘man) J. Kidd, L. Hunter. J. JAnisy’, A. Kyle, J. Griffen, A A. Fielding, and P. E. Sweetman (secretary.) * , The Blackball Club wrote stating that at a recent meeting the following resolutions were carried: That the club forfeit a game to the centre, such game to be decided by the centre, and (2) that in the case of the game being forfeited to Marist, they be approached to defray Blackhall’s travelline expenses The Grey County Council wrote stating that the work of clearing the drains at Wingham Park would be attended to after attention had been paid to recent Rood damage. Marist Schoo} wrote asking for a football 1 and stating that a sixth and seventh grade and a fourth grade toam would be fielded this season., It was decided to grant a football and forward the letter to the' Junior Advisory Board. It was decided to forward a football,. the trophy won last year by the fourth graders ot the Marist Club. It was also decided that the Junior Advisory Board be advised that where competitions are played with no trophies available, no footballs will be played for. It was decided to send a letter co Mr. G. Grey-Campbell former president of the Auckland Rugby League who retired through ill health, hoping he would soon recover and congratulating him on his term of office. The Junior Advisory Board’s annual report stated that the Board had just passed through a very successful season. Many players under the Board’s care last year/ would now be playing in higher grades. Ine Norman Cox Cup team had suffered a defeat in 'Christchurch. Thanks we r e due to Bro. William and Mr. Mason of Blackball whom valuable assistance had been received. Bro. Tarcissus was a new member of the Board, Thanks wer« extended to members for their support during the year, to the Centre for its help and to Mrs.' Bradshaw and Mr. T. O’Brien. < The report was and. the Board Was congratulated on its efforts.

The balance sheet showed a credit of £5 15s 9d. The fixtures for Sunday are as follows: — Senior: Marist v. Runanga at Runanga (L. Kinsella); Ngahere v. Blackball at Ngahere (J. Earl). Junior: Runanga v. ' Brunner at Brunner; Seaview a bye. Third Grade: Marist v. Blackball at Wingham Park at 2.30 p.m. (E. McGirr); Runanga v. Brunner at Brunner. Sixth Grade (Saturday): Marist A v. Brunner at Winghtm Park; Marist B v. Blackball at Wingham Park.
