DANUBE FLOOD

(Rec. 9.10) SOFIA, March 14. Seven are dead in the flooded area of Vidia. Twelve thousand have been evacuated from Vidia. Efforts are going on to rescue six thousand who have been stranded for days on rooftops in freezing weather. Iceblocks are hindering the rescuers. An official warning has been issued that the Danube River is still rising at Lorn, which is already under water.
