It is now impossible to purchase motor tyres or tubes, issue bemg made only in the case of essential vehicles. Not even vehicles used on EPS work, holding special or other coupons, would qualify for tyres or tubes. Those being in possession ol an oil fuel license are deemed to he essential. Several private car owners who have applied for tyres and tubes since petrol has again became available have been refused.
Ten per cent, penalty will be added to Brunner rates after 4 p.m. Monday.
