The Tokio Radio says that the Domei News Agency reports that the Japanese forces have been mopping up remnants of the British forces on Singapore Island. Six hundred men of the British forces were captured on Tuesday morning on Tekon Island, north-ea'st of Changi, which is the easternmost district of Singapore Island. . 4,600 BRITISH WOUNDED. TOKIO, February 24. The Domei Agency says that 4,600 wounded British soldiers at ' the Cathay Hotel in Singapore are under the care of the Japanese. It adds that 1,282 British civilians, including 92 women, remained in Singapore.
